About The Role
As a result of growth within our BGS+ Soccer program, applications are currently invited for the casual position of Soccer Coach. Working with Football Victoria and our official club partner, Hampton East Brighton Football Club, the BGS+ Soccer programs provide players with all the necessary pathways to excel in Soccer and reach their potential. All our programs are open to both Brighton Grammar School students and the wider community.
As a Coach in this program, you will be responsible for developing the skills and knowledge of enthusiastic athletes across multiple age groups. The ideal candidate will have availability Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3pm until 6pm and Saturdays to accomodate fixtures that change from week to week. The away fixture is held in the mornings and the home fixture is held in the afternoons.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, the successful applicant will require:
* An understanding of the skills and tactics required to participate Soccer.
* Strong organisational skills.
* The ability to make sound judgements, coordinate activities and meet deadlines without supervision.
* The ability to work autonomously with high levels of motivation – yet also able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Well-developed oral and written communications skills.
* A current employee Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check.
