We are seeking skilled professionals to fill Contract Manager positions in Port Augusta. This long-term engagement will involve managing contracts, leading teams, and working on projects with a direct impact on remote communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple construction and infrastructure contracts in remote South Australia
* Provide contract administration, commercial advice, and compliance oversight
* Lead and mentor teams, supporting succession planning for government staff
* Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to improved systems, reporting, risk management, and safety practices
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery and contract management
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
* Current Driver's Licence
* Demonstrated experience managing contracts up to $50M
* Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and cultural sensitivity
* Ability to work in remote locations, including overnight stays and varied hours
