Protective Service Officer - Perth Job Description
The Australian Federal Police is expanding in Western Australia to support national protection priorities.
Protective Service Officers will contribute to defence capabilities and national security at HMAS Stirling, a Royal Australian Navy base near Perth.
* Maritime operations
* Rapid response and public order management
PSOs will gain experience working with domestic and international defence stakeholders, including nuclear-powered submarines.
They will provide visible uniformed security, operational planning, first-response capabilities, intelligence-led activities, and stakeholder engagement.
Training and Benefits:
Successful applicants will be awarded a Certificate IV in Protective Services after 15 weeks of paid training, including accommodation and meals.

Starting Salary: $78,*** per annum, inclusive of a base salary, allowance, overtime, and penalties.
