 
        
        Therapeutic Support Specialist

A dedicated Therapeutic Support Specialist will deliver meaningful support to individuals experiencing problematic substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
Your Role
This role offers the opportunity to apply trauma-informed practice, deliver evidence-based interventions, and contribute to client recovery in individual and group settings. You will join a collaborative team committed to delivering impactful programs and supporting positive recovery outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
Develop case conceptualisation and treatment plans based on client assessments.
Deliver individual counselling across various modalities including face-to-face, video, and telephone.
Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group programs.
Conduct risk assessments and manage emergency risk plans.
Maintain accurate and timely client documentation and reporting.
Participate in case conferencing, clinical supervision, quality improvement, and program review processes.
You Will Need
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and evidence-based interventions.
 * Skills in facilitating therapeutic group programs.
Ability to engage clients with empathy, respect, and professionalism.
Experience working with clients presenting with AOD, grief, and loss, and complex trauma.
Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
