Allstar Blue are currently seeking experienced Belt Splicers / Conveyor Technicians for Permanent FIFO positions inWA. Level 3 & Supervisors Required • Permanent Positions | Immediate Starts • Market Competitive Rates
Note: If you are interested in Relocating to WA, please apply or call. Unfortunately there are no current FIFO positions from the East Coast to WA.
Key Responsibilities
* Belt Splicing, Repairs, Maintenance and Installations to: Steel Cord, Fabric, Solid Woven and Ply belts.
* Contribute towards the companies safety policies
* Report any incidents, hazards or near misses
* Assist with creating splice reports
* Coordinate workflow, crew and the equipment
* Perform hot and cold repairs
* Perform pulley lagging and apply mechanical clips
* Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair
* Conduct belt audits
Requirements
* Good knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations
* Extensive Steel cord experience
* Strong commitment to Safety
* An understanding of high integrity splicing procedures
