We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate
Physiotherapist
(Grade 1) to join our friendly and dynamic Allied Health Department, on a permanent full-time basis.
Our areas of speciality include inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation, orthopaedics, surgical, general medicine, oncology and ICU. Rotation throughout these wards is available along with mentoring and supervision for graduates and Grade 1s.
Shifts will be rostered
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.06pm
with one weekend every 8 weeks (approximately).
The Position
Provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients.
Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.
Assist with education and training programs for students as requested
To succeed you have experience in providing evidence-based physiotherapy practices in clinical settings, excellent verbal & written communication skills and able to work independently and within a team.
Successful applicants will be currently registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA). Post-graduate qualifications in the relevant area will be highly regarded.

We can offer you
Salary: $70,866 to $97,980 plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week
