About the role
Protech Cairns is recruiting for a skilled and experienced Project Support Officer - Lead. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, working closely with various departments to obtain quotes, establish and maintain project control registers, and provide leadership and guidance to a team of support officers. As a Team Leader, you will not only be responsible for project support tasks but also overseeing the performance and development of your team, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
Key Duties
- Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a small team of project support officers
- Team Coordination: Ensure team members meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and provide guidance on processes and tasks
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining an internal database and data entry
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Responding to emails and other forms of communication
- Processing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements
- Complete Records Management tasks such as batching and profiling
Skills & Attributes
- Diploma in Business or relevant experience working in an administrative/ project support role
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing or leading a team in a project support environment.
- Strong Excel Spreadsheet experience
- Professional customer service skills
- Good eye for detail
- Strong data entry skills
- Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time and workload management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Candidate must be an Australian Citizen
