Core Responsibilities
* Generate 3D models and drawings.
* Offer solutions and resolve product/technical issues.
* Assist in product development.
* Liaise with the product development team for troubleshooting.
* Assist the sales team with design and drafting support.
* Product conceptualisation.
Key Tasks
* Produce and issue technical design and detailed drawings.
* Develop workable solutions with engineers, designers and workshop staff.
* Create and revise CAD drawings.
Success Traits
* Confident team player, self‐motivated and energetic.
* Experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
* Background in engineering design/drafting.
* Excellent communication and record‐keeping skills.
* Critical thinking and problem‐solving ability.
* High level of motivation, initiative and time‐management skills.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven drafting history on large‐scale projects.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with Autodesk Inventor.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
* Excellent attitude and commitment to safety.
* Proven experience drafting to Australian standards, statutory requirements and client specifications.
* Engineering design experience in the coal or metals sector is highly regarded.
Work Location: In person.
Salary: $98,800 per year.
