An exciting opportunity is available for new social work graduates to join the Social Work New Graduate Program within Nepean Local Health District. This two-year program includes two 12-month rotations, currently offered in the Acute Care Social Work Team at Nepean Hospital and the Drug and Alcohol Service.
Participants will undertake comprehensive psychosocial assessments, provide a range of social work interventions including counselling, case management, and advocacy, and maintain accurate records and statistics. The program supports continuing professional development through regular supervision, participation in research, quality improvement, and team activities. Graduates will also develop strong connections with local health and welfare agencies to enhance service delivery.
