AJ's Total Truck Gear is in Toowoomba Queensland and looking for a fulltime Polisher to join our busy team manufacturing Bullbars/Bumpers. Below is a list of main tasks and duties but not limited to:
Main tasks and duties are as follows:
Polish / Grind / Sand Bullbars, Bumpers and other Miscellaneous Metal Objects
Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools
Completes polishing checklists to ensure all bars are leaving polishing area at the required standard.
Brown Polish/ Green polish bars to required standard
Mark defects such as knotholes, cracks, and splits for repair
Selecting and using grinders and metal finishers.
Working independently.
Work safely in accordance with any relevant SWI or SOP's.
Work in and maintain a working workplace with an acceptable level of housekeeping.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Experience:
Metal Polishing: 3 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
