We are seeking Remote Area Nurses to join a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory.
What’s on Offer
- Base salary up to $124,113.60/year (depending on experience) + on-call allowance + 12% superannuation
- 6 weeks annual leave + 18% leave loading
- 15 personal leave days per year

- Salary packaging to maximise take-home pay (up to $18,650 per year)
- Monday–Friday role (8:00 am – 4:30 pm) with rotating on-call roster
The Role
You’ll be based in one of several remote Aboriginal communities within the Katherine region, working within a close-knit and supportive health team. Each community offers a unique experience and the opportunity to build meaningful connections.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Primary & preventative health care
- Chronic disease management & health screening
- Acute & emergency care (including on-call)
- Outreach services & home visits
- Mentoring Aboriginal Health Practitioners and support staff

Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- 2+ years’ experience in emergency department, primary health, community health, or rural nursing
- Manual driver’s licence
