About the role:
The Warehouse Operator plays a vital role in the success of warehouse operations. This position is responsible for performing daily warehouse and distribution activities to ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence. The role also supports team performance by adhering to safety standards and following established operational processes.
Permanent Day shift role Mon - Thurs 6am pm & Fri 6am - 12pm
* Liaise with warehouse & production teams as well as drivers and customers.
* Follow CSR initiatives and assist to drive a continuous improvement culture through collaboration with team and stakeholders.
* Promote safety values and follow safety, health and environment processes and systems to embed safety into the culture and ways of working.
* Maintain compliance to, all legislation that impacts warehouse and transport environments including Workers Compensation, WHS&E and COR
* Work with the team to assist with cycle counts & stock takes as per CSR Inventory policy.
What you bring to the role:
* Solid warehouse experience and manual handling capability (up to 20kg)
* Current Forklift license - 3 years minimum experience.
* Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy skills
* Self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and a team player mindset
* Good safety awareness and hazard identification skills
* You will be required to comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
