The Role
Hudson has partnered with a high profile government department seeking an APS 6 Case Manager with experience in assessments, analysis and resolution of complex, compliance-driven cases, with a strong focus on debt management and resource accountability.

Duties:
* Enter, organise, review and analyse data related to outstanding complex cases involving the management and of Commonwealth funds
* Conduct reviews against the department's debt recovery and financial accountability policies and processes.
* Assess legacy and new debt cases for alignment with the department's recovery framework
* Draft recommendations and options for case resolution
* Liaise with finance, legal and program teams on recoveries, write-offs, or remediation actions
* Review and analysis into breaches of financial obligations or contract conditions
* Collect and analyse documentation, liaise with relevant stakeholders, and build comprehensive case files
* Ensure adherence to procedural fairness and due diligence
* Draft templates and related documents supporting policy implementation
* Support the embedding of compliance culture across delivery teams
* Provide policy-informed advice on corrective actions and recovery strategies
* Inform cross-program learning with case insights

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
