Our medical centre in Burwood Sydney is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our growing team. The applicant should hold or be eligible to apply for general medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. We welcome both Australian-trained and international medical graduates (IMG). The position does not necessarily require the doctor to be a fully qualified GP Fellow. We are seeking a nominated treating doctor to join our medical centre, which has a strong focus on Workers Compensation and CTP injury management. In this role, the doctor will be responsible for overseeing patients’ injury management and recovery, coordinating care, and liaising with key stakeholders including employers, rehabilitation consultants, Insurance Case Manager, lawyers, and relevant medical or surgical specialists. The doctor will also work closely with our in-house allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes for patients. Prior experience in Workers Compensation or CTP is not required, as our practice provides a structured training and support framework to help doctors develop confidence and expertise in this area. We also place a strong emphasis on the effective use of technology to support clinical workflows, documentation, and communication with stakeholders. There will also be possible future opportunities to manage pre-employment checks. Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) would be highly advantageous, as a significant proportion of our patients come from Chinese-speaking communities. Strong English communication skills is essential, as the doctor will be required to interact regularly with a range of stakeholders involved in patient’s claim management. The successful candidate should demonstrate professionalism, strong organisational skills, and a patient-centred approach to care, with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
