Job Description What this role requires: Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements and manage discrepancies effectively. Ensure payment runs are completed efficiently and within deadlines. Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes. Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve payment issues. Monitor accounts payable inbox and respond to queries promptly. Assist with month-end tasks, including reporting and reconciliations. Adhere to company policies and compliance regulations in all processes. The Successful Applicant The successful Accounts Payable Officer should have: 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or varied accounts roles. A comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes. Proficiency in tier one accounting software such as SAP, Xero or MYOB etc. alongside a strong understanding of Microsoft Suit, specifically Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
