We value collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement, and we’re looking for a skilled Senior Project Editor to join us in advancing our mission to make mathematics meaningful, enjoyable, and accessible for all learners.
Purpose of the Role
The Senior Project Editor provides high-quality, timely, and accurate publishing and editorial services for a range of print and digital products. This role collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with project goals.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in publishing or communications; postgraduate qualifications are a plus
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
- High-level English language skills with a demonstrated understanding of the principles of plain English and inclusive language
- Proven ability to produce highly accurate and coherent content
- Proven understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Familiarity with mathematics curricula, particularly North American standards, will be highly regarded
- Fluency in Spanish, as it is used in North American elementary schools, is a plus
- High level of understanding of design and print production principles and processes
- Experience maintaining multiple schedules; familiarity with project management tools is a plus
- Experience with the integration of AI tools to enhance workflow and outcomes
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders
- Available to participate in real-time collaboration with our Australian-based (AEST) and US-based (WST/CST) team members
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and InDesign, and HTML
