**About the Role**
Supporting the Education Manager. This is a full time and an entry-level role if you are looking to develop your career in a closely-knit education environment.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure efficiency of the teaching and learning cycle for Ikon students and staff, provide advice, guidance and support to lecturers, teaching assistants and students regarding the Institute.
**About you**:
You are passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience and willing to learn as you go. You will have great attention to detail, well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to liaise with other teams to achieve results.
You have the ability to manage your own time effectively to complete deadlines and multi-task through the priorities of the day.
**Role responsibilities**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the faculty
- Work within the Student Experience team on standard data entry as required after training
- Working to prepare the campus for orientations and open days
- Active participation in open days, orientations, special events, and graduations alongside the Student Experience Team
- Organising classrooms to be fully provisioned for lecturers
- Assisting the Education Manager with records management of all documentation requirements of the Education Team.
**Experience**:
- One (1) or more years of experience in a relevant industry and/or have equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience
- Demonstrable organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to ensure successful completion of all responsibilities and tasks
- Understanding of academic services, having worked in an education environment preferred, but not mandatory
- Demonstrated experience working with Student or Learning Management systems desirable, but not mandatory

- Excellent numeracy, oral and written communication skills
- Proactive work habits with a demonstrated eye for detail
- IT literacy particularly the Microsoft Office environment
**People skills**
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively them at an operational level.
- Understanding of academic services, having worked in an education environment.
