About This Role
Utilise your communications, marketing and media expertise to provide support and advice to the Strategic Communication branch.
Two ongoing, full-time opportunities to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service.
VPS Grade 5: $113,022 – $136,747 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level media support and advice to key stakeholders.
Manage complex communication and media issues, and deliver engaging content to promote the department's work.
Work in a fast-moving environment, manage multiple competing deadlines, and communicate sensitive and complex information accurately.
About You
Proven track record in managing complex media issues and implementing media strategies.
Strong writing skills with sound news sense, and an interest in law and order issues.
Experience in a similar governmental or public-service environment.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a can-do approach.
Knowledge of State Government communication policies and processes is preferred.
Qualifications / Requirements
Tertiary qualification in journalism, public relations or a related communication discipline.
