Are you at your best when you are out with clients, building trust, having real conversations and becoming the person they rely on when it counts
This is an opportunity to join a long standing, Australian, family owned business with deep roots in the local community and a strong reputation for looking after its people and its customers. The organisation is well established, has a strong share of its market and is known for forming relationships that last for years, not months.
Based in Cairns, this role will suit someone who enjoys being part of a close knit team, values stability and wants to contribute to a business that genuinely cares about the communities it works within.
What You Will Be Doing
In this relationship focused Account Manager role, you will:
* Build and maintain long term client relationships based on trust, reliability and consistent service
* Spend regular time with clients, getting to know their businesses, understanding what is important to them and working alongside them to find practical solutions
* Identify opportunities to deepen and grow existing accounts while also seeking out new relationships in a considered and professional way
* Represent the business at client meetings, networking functions and entertainment opportunities, always with a focus on strengthening partnerships and adding value
* Work closely with internal teams to make sure promises made to clients are delivered and any issues are resolved quickly and professionally
* Use CRM and digital tools to stay organised, maintain accurate records and manage a structured pipeline of activity
This is not a hard sell environment. Success here is built on consistency, follow through and being genuinely committed to your clients.

* Family owned, with strong, long term community ties and a genuine commitment to supporting local people and local organisations
* Well established and respected, giving you confidence in the stability of your role and the quality of the service you represent
* Values driven, where integrity, reliability and doing the right thing are more important than short term wins
* Team oriented, where people help each other, share knowledge and work together toward common goals
You can expect to be trusted to get on with the job, supported when you need it and encouraged to build relationships in a way that feels authentic to you.
What You Bring
