As the
Manager, Event Programming,
you'll play a critical leadership role overseeing the design, content strategy, and execution of over 200 events annually. This includes premium signature events, national conferences, and state-based gatherings. You'll manage and mentor a team of four content producers, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, policy releases, and member needs.
You'll collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, manage subject matter experts and committees, and bring an informed and strategic eye to event programming. Your ability to balance content development with operational scheduling will be key to delivering impactful, well-coordinated programs that resonate with a high-level membership audience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach and develop a team of event content producers.
* Design and schedule the national event program, ensuring strategic alignment.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts, committees, and internal teams.
* Drive program improvement through market research, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics (e.g., NPS).
* Oversee content development, speaker sourcing, and program reporting.
About You:
* You bring 5+ years of event programming, content strategy, and team leadership experience.
* You've successfully delivered large-scale professional or corporate events.
* You're confident working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
* You're adept at managing event calendars, budgets, and reporting tools.
* Experience in governance, professional associations, or membership organisations will be highly regarded.
