Job Description
The Training Officer is responsible for the delivery and development of operator and maintenance training for EOS products and systems. The role supports live‐fire training activities, demonstrations, product testing, and customer engagement activities across the business.
Training, Demonstrations and Event Delivery
* Deliver operator and maintenance training for EOS products and systems.
* Support and conduct classroom, practical, and range‐based training activities.
* Conduct and/or support live fire activities including training, demonstrations, and product quality testing.
Training Development
* Assist in the development and continuous improvement of training materials and courses.
* Assist in the development of operator and maintenance manuals through review and advice on doctrine, procedures, and instructional clarity.
* Strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular dialogue with customer operators and maintenance teams.
* Elicit, capture, and review customer feedback on latest products and innovations.
Compliance & Safety
* Ensure all work complies with EOS standards and safety protocols.
* Must be able to meet EOS requirements to be added to the EOS Firearms Permit IAW NSW Firearms Act 1996 and Firearms Regulation 2017.
* Ensure safe, compliant storage, handling, and transport of weapons and controlled items in line with all company and legal requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential o Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
* Ability to travel and work in remote or challenging environments.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar training, instructional, or operational role.
* Fully Automatic Weapon Experience
* Experience working within the defence sector
* Experience delivering training in technical or operational environments
