Are you passionate about Commercial Litigation and eager to specialise?
Roberts Crosbie Mortensen Lawyers is a thriving Business & Litigation law firm specialising in Commercial Litigation, Building & Construction Law, Corporate & Commercial Law, Workplace Law and Corporate Insolvency & Restructuring. Established for 17 years in Newcastle, our senior team members are consistently working at capacity due to client demand. This is where you come in.
As our client base continues to grow, we are expanding our team and require a talented Associate Solicitor at our Newcastle office with at least 3 years of post-admission experience (PAE) to help meet the demand.
About the role
You will join our Commercial Litigation team, which includes 3 Accredited Specialists — one of the most highly regarded in NSW. Your role will cover a variety of general commercial litigation matters, with a focus on commercial and residential building disputes.
At Roberts Crosbie Mortensen Lawyers, we tackle complex legal matters. You will have the opportunity to manage matters and clients autonomously, with strategic direction and mentorship from a Partner and Special Counsel, both Accredited Specialists. Our Associate Solicitors participate in weekly matter reviews and quarterly goal setting and review meetings to ensure they have the support needed to develop their skills and meet our standards.
We focus on continuous improvement by providing the right tools and processes to enable our solicitors to concentrate on high-value work. We offer a competitive salary (plus performance-based monthly commissions), a people-first culture, recognition and reward programs, and career development opportunities.
