About the Role:
The Business Support Officer provides high quality administrative and customer support services and advice that contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the Park Operations and Community Partnerships Branch.
External customers receive a professional, timely and high quality front counter, email and telephone support service in relation to NPWS matters.
Branch employees receive a range of high quality administrative support services and advice, consistent with procedures and requirements.
Collaborative relationships are established and maintained with key internal and external stakeholders.
Branch WHS Committees are supported with efficient executive support services, including preparation of agendas and taking of minutes and actions.
The Business Support Team Leader is supported in the continuous review and streamlining of administrative functions and procedures which assist in the delivery of efficient and effective services.

Contract:
Ongoing Part-time 26.5 hours per week
Special Conditions:
* This role will be located at the Kingscote NPWS regional office.
* Current class "C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
* Required to wear the appropriate uniform while undertaking duties, to represent the NPWS in a professional manner.
* A current First Aid Certificate may be required.
* Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
* This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.
Remuneration:
ASO2 $58,709 min - $63,154 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours.
