Technical Sales & Partnership Consultant
Overview
This pivotal role drives sales and cultivates strategic relationships with growers and influencers in agricultural and horticultural industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
* Drive the Sales Team's success by achieving budgeted sales targets through strategic farm acquisitions and quality revenue growth.
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on identifying new business opportunities in the cotton industry.
* Take ownership of business development within the AgTech sector, growing our customer base in Southern New South Wales and Northern Victoria.
Customer and Partner Support
* Provide continuous support to the Customer Success Team, including equipment planning, deployment, installation, and after-sales services.
* Assist INCYT partners, dealers, and installers across the region as needed.
* Deliver training to key partners and customers for proper operation and maintenance of product features and applications.
Industry Engagement
* Coordinate and attend industry events critical to sales success and revenue growth, delivering presentations as required.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to shape partnership strategies.
Collaboration and Alignment
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to ensure alignment and maximise sales opportunities.
* Uphold excellent customer satisfaction by providing top-notch technical support and adhering to company guidelines.
Experience:
* Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in AgTech or agriculture sectors.
* A qualification or significant experience in Agronomy, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Comprehensive understanding of IoT technology applications in agriculture.
* Established industry networks within the agricultural sector are highly desirable.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
* Experience working with farmers and understanding their operational challenges.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to turn data into actionable insights.
* Ability to travel regionally and nationally to meet with clients and support the sales team.
