Early Childhood Teacher – Camp Hill Kindergarten
Camp Hill Kindergarten is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has proudly served local families since 1944, celebrating 80 years of service in 2024. Affiliated with C&K, our kindy is operated by a parent-elected Management Committee in partnership with two Co-Directors.
Nestled among leafy gardens and natural play areas, Camp Hill Kindy is a double-unit service offering five programs: four standard kindergarten groups and a pre-kindy program for three-year-olds. We embrace a play-based, emergent curriculum where children's strengths and interests shape collaborative learning experiences, supported by intentional teaching practices.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to deliver a two-day kindergarten program (Monday–Tuesday). This is a highly valued role, working closely with our Co-Directors and Educational Leader in a collaborative teaching environment.
* Monday–Tuesday group
* 12-month temporary part-time contract, with the possibility of extension
* Sessional kindergarten hours hour day – program time 7.5hours).
* $43.32–$62.49 per hour + super (depending on experience)
* Aligned with QLD State School calendar (4 terms)

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high-quality, inclusive early childhood education program aligned with the EYLF and NQF
* Maintain rich, holistic documentation of children's learning and development
* Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Create an environment that fosters belonging, curiosity, and community connection
* Communicate meaningfully and authentically with children to support participation and learning
* Engage with families through ongoing communication, meetings, and centre events
* Contribute to a cohesive team environment through reflective practice and innovation
* Confidently use technology to support teaching and administration
About You
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent, ACECQA recognised).
* Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (renewed annually).
* Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
* Valid Blue Card and current Police Check.
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training.
* You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community.
