Senior Layout Design Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior 2D Layout Designer to join our Head Office team located in Ascot, WA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing plant layout design for mineral process plants and bulk material handling projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing plant layouts and detailed drawings as per project requirements
* Reviewing vendor drawings and design data
* Contribute technical and design assistance to provide design solutions in consultation with Lead Designer and Lead Engineer
* Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation produced for activities under their control
* Liaising with all relevant personnel where required to produce accurate design documentation
* Designing with all relevant disciplines and ensuring design coordination of any multi-disciplined activities
Requirements:
* A solid background in mineral processing and bulk materials handling projects
* Advanced Diploma of Engineering, or equivalent
* A minimum of 10 years' design experience
* Knowledge of current design and detail drafting standards
* Detailed knowledge of CAD design packages and CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred)
* Understanding EPC and EPCM culture goals
* High level communication skills
* Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context
* Full and unrestricted Australian work rights
