**About the Opportunity**
The Department of Medicine are actively searching for dedicated persons to undertake the role of Secretary and be based at Campbelltown Hospital.

Strong verbal communication, problem-solving, and planning skills are essential, allowing for proactive and independent work in a collaborative healthcare environment. Join us in making a difference in healthcare administration in our dynamic team at Campbelltown Hospital.

**What You'll be Doing**
To provide effective, efficient and high quality Secretarial support to the Director of Medicine, Director of Physician Training, Staff Specialists, Visiting Medical Officers, Advanced Trainees, Medical Registrars, Nursing and Research Staff.

To act as first point of contact for the Department of Medicine, plus a range of contacts at all levels from Western Sydney University, research stakeholders, medical representatives, Primary Health Network, Royal Australian College of Physicians and hospital staff liaising with the medical team.

**How to Apply**
- Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Hospital Medical Workforce structure.
- Demonstrated high level experience in the use of all Microsoft Office software with excellent keyboard skills. Experience in Health Roster.
- Demonstrated experience in office management and administration skills with an ability to organise and prioritise work and complete tasks within tight timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement with regard to the release of information on confidential matters.
- Experience in rostering and employment processes. Working knowledge of Medical officer awards.
- Demonstrated and well developed planning, organisational and problem saving skills with the ability to show initiative and work unsupervised.
- Demonstrated capacity to achieve results through liaison, negotiation, advocacy and conflict resolution.
