Transport Officer Job

The Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria, offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Transport Officer to join their team. As a key member of the organisation's operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and courteous transportation of patients with various medical conditions.

This role is pivotal in providing comfort and care during transit, requiring a high level of compassion, professionalism, and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

* Job Responsibilities:
* Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road.
* Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders.
* Perform independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures.
* Work collaboratively with other team members.

Requirements:

* A minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent.
* Availability to work 10- and 12-hour shifts across seven days.
* Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
* Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to providing excellent service.
* Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential.
* Satisfactory completion of safety screening, including a current Full Driver's License, State driver history report, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
