Chemical Plant Operations Specialist
The Chemical Plant Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality chemical products. This role requires a strong understanding of chemical operations and a passion for ensuring the quality of our products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Raw Materials Management: Ensure that raw materials are received with correct quality paperwork and meet quality specifications.
* Quality Control: Take product samples for QC as detailed in operations procedures and ensure QC approval prior to repacking or bulk product transfer.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance checks as stipulated to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
* Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock/product is received and stored correctly.
* Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to communicate changes, status updates, and other important information.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A high school certificate or equivalent level of education.
* 3-5 years' experience in chemical plant operations.
* Ability to read and interpret routine instructions, correspondence, and memos.
* Good communication and team player skills.
* Ability to work inside or outside in hot temperatures.
* Proficiency in multiple software systems (Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Office).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Forklift license.
