Our federal government client is seeking an experienced
EDRMS Specialist
to provide technical support, training, and guidance for their Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a service-oriented environment and enjoys helping others navigate digital systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first and second-level helpdesk support for EDRMS users, including troubleshooting and vendor liaison.
* Develop and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
* Deliver training and advice on records and information management best practices.
* Assist with file retrieval, sentencing, and disposal of records.
* Contribute to the development of policies and strategies that enhance information governance.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
About You:
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Technical expertise in EDRMS systems (
Objective ECM highly regarded
).
* Demonstrated experience in records/information management.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to APS Values, equity, diversity, and workplace safety.
* Physical capacity to handle records storage tasks (lifting up to 15kg).
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship.
* Baseline security clearance or higher.
* Relevant qualifications in records/information management.
* Membership with RIMPA (or willingness to join) desirable.
* Experience in a similar role and tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
