**Description**:
Roster
- Largely Monday to Friday day role, with evening and weekend hours as functions required.
**Role Overview**:
- Responsible for building events, as well as executing
- Would suit a junior events coordinator looking for growth and increased autonomy
- Working across 2 magnificent sites, with a massive variety of functions
- Plan and execute all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and entertainment.
- Develop event timelines, schedules, and agendas, ensuring all logístical details are accounted for.
- Oversee event setup, on-site coordination, and post-event breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**Key Attributes required for the position**:
Experience and understanding of the ___ Food Authority Legislation and ___ Accreditation process
Humble, down to earth, able to use initiative & demonstration of leadership skills
Developing and maintaining strong and effective client relationships.
Achievement of budgeting through goods & labour
A strong Workplace Health and Safety and Compliance focus
Managing staff turnover and effective recruitment
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
Travel required within __ - Car allowance included in the salary package.
**The Ideal Applicant will have**:
Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or similar Hospitality qualifications
Previous experience in the contract catering, managing events and/or corporate hospitality
The ability to lead, motivate, direct teams and work in time sensitive environment
A strong understanding of budgeting, rostering and cost management
Professionalism and accountability along with personal values aligned with Care, Pride and Community
Strong customer service skills
