About The Role
As the Director, Advisory Quality Management you will champion quality as a strategic driver of BDO's success for the Advisory service line.
This Role Will Include
* Quality Assurance: Developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure that services meet established standards.
* Risk Management: Identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
* Compliance: Ensuring that services comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitoring performance and implementing improvements to enhance service quality and reduce risks.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Lead the Quality Management team for BDO's Advisory service line.
* Design and implement fit-for-purpose quality policies, procedures, processes, and resources.
* Ensure staff are provided with appropriate software tools, technical manuals, guidance materials, learning and technical support to perform engagements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Interpret the findings, deficiencies and related root causes from internal and external monitoring and information-gathering processes.
About You
* A bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or a related field.
* Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or similar will be highly regarded.
* Strong knowledge of professional services standards and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in quality assurance, risk management, or a related field with the professional services environment.
* Experience in developing and implementing quality control systems and processes.
* Proven track record of managing risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Experience in training and developing staff on quality and risk management practices.
