Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for conducting field inspections. This requires the ability to accomplish tasks involving wide-ranging walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, performing elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or restrained spaces.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering or a related field is required.
* Candidates should possess a good practical working knowledge of teamwork and its application to construction and design.
* Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAP) standards and other automation tools used on Bechtel projects must be well understood.
* Proficiency in computer applications, word processing, spreadsheet, and database compliant with existing BSAP standards is essential. Industry quality standards must also be conversant.
* Sound experience in managing subcontractors with superior supervision and leadership expertise, as well as the capability to direct and manage change.
