Job Title: Contract Administrator – 50m+ Project
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong commercial knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.
About the Role
* This is a contract full-time position providing a challenging work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
* You will be responsible for managing all facets of the subcontract process, including procurement, administration, and risk management.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working in a head contractor environment, with a strong understanding of new build jobs $50m+
Responsibilities
* Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts from initiation to completion.
* Process variations, negotiate subcontract tenders, and review subcontract packages.
* Maintain accurate records of payment schedules, delay claims, and external variations.
* Ensure compliance with environmental commitments and responsibilities.
* Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and inspection test plans.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or similar.
* Minimum 2-5 years' experience within the construction industry (Tier 1, 2, or 3 background preferred).
* Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with Coins Software is advantageous.
* Strong financial analysis and administrative focus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
