What you'll do:
* Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of external audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
* Supervise audit teams, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure high-quality and timely deliverables
* Identify and assess financial statement risks through detailed audit procedures and substantive testing, applying professional judgment
* Evaluate clients' internal controls and risk management frameworks to support robust audit conclusions
* Prepare and review clear and concise audit reports and communicate findings effectively with clients and senior stakeholders
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance audit efficiency, quality, and client experience
* Build strong client relationships, proactively resolving complex accounting and audit issues, and advising on best practices
What we're looking for:
* Financial Expertise: At least 5 years' experience in external audit, preferably with exposure to EUR or related sectors, and a recognised CA qualification
* Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and develop audit teams, manage multiple audit engagements and priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes
* Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and build trust with senior client stakeholders
* Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements relevant to EUR
* Problem Solving: Ability to analyse complex financial and business issues, exercise professional judgement, and provide practical recommendations
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex audit findings clearly to diverse audiences
