Complex Support Role for Individuals with High Needs
This vital position entails providing empathetic and culturally sensitive support to individuals with complex behavioural needs, promoting their independence, wellbeing, and choice.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support clients with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities in a comprehensive manner.
* Assist with daily living activities, domestic tasks, and facilitating community access.
* Manage challenging behaviours and provide assistance to those at risk of absconding.
* Administer PEG feeding, medication, and manual handling procedures safely.
* Document clear shift notes and incident reports efficiently.
Requirements:
* National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check.
* Certificate III/IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services.
* Working With Children Check.
* National Police Check.
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Third Party insurance.
