We are looking for an experienced Foreman to join our Mount Isa team to oversee daily workshop activities, ensure safe, efficient and high‐quality service delivery, and support a team of tradespeople. The role is permanent, full‐time, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
* Lead, coordinate and supervise workshop personnel to achieve operational targets.
* Manage daily scheduling, job allocation and work prioritisation, maintaining records and reporting.
* Uphold safety standards, fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS procedures.
* Conduct quality checks, inspections and final sign‐off to guarantee all work meets technical and customer expectations.
* Support workforce development through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
* Collaborate closely with Service Supervisor, Advisor and key stakeholders to optimise productivity.
* Provide technical support for troubleshooting, diagnostics and problem‐solving.
Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualification in mechanical, diesel fitting or heavy equipment.
* Leadership or supervisory experience within a workshop, mining or heavy industry environment.
* Strong background with large Caterpillar machines, diesel engines and mining/construction applications.
* Proven experience in frontline service within heavy mining and construction industries.
* Computer skills including Microsoft AX and Power BI.
* In‐depth product knowledge of Caterpillar machinery, products and services.
* Commitment to high standards of workplace safety.
* Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with a customer‐focused mindset.
* Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast‐paced environment.
