Gardening and property maintenance position available
First and foremost, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our respectful, positive team. Being active and strong, an ability to take initiative and high integrity are also critical to this position.
Predominantly based on a large property on the Mornington Peninsula with future work spreading over other properties in the estate.
You will have landscaping and/or extensive gardening experience, your license and own transport and a volunteer working with children check and police check (or be willing to obtain one).
Working alongside the lead gardener, duties will include but are not limited to-
Maintaining all established gardens around the property
Weeding, pruning, spraying, mowing, clearing and tidying
Tending to the vegetable garden
Planting/establishing new gardens
Maintaining roadsides around the property
Wood chopping and splitting
Clearing fallen trees
An array of property maintenance and general labour tasks on the grounds and around the buildings on the property
Other adhoc tasks as needed
The position will be full-time with a trial period of 3 months. Caretaking of other properties will also be available after the trial period.
Working under the manager, you will be part of a small team that values a positive and supportive workplace that is respectful and welcoming.
