We’re partnering with an award winning commercial brokerage that’s on the lookout for a Domestic Broker as part of their planned growth across NZ. This is an opportunity to step into a relationship-driven broking role with strong referral pipelines and clear progression into more complex accounts over time. The Role You’ll manage the continued growth of the domestic book through warm referrals and lead chasing — no cold calling required. Your day-to-day will include: Managing new business leads from trusted referral partners Growing your portfolio with managed admin from your broker support Handling renewals alongside ongoing new business activity Providing tailored advice across domestic and private asset risks Work closely with your broker support Gradually move into more complex accounts as your experience grows About You Previous experience in domestic insurance broking (preferred), or experience as a broker support Comfortable managing new business and explaining policies to clients Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, organised, and commercially minded Keen to grow your career in a supportive but performance-focused environment What’s on Offer Base salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience) Strong Commission Scheme Warm referrals from established partners - No cold calling Clear career progression and exposure to larger accounts Supportive leadership and a collaborative team culture Flexible start and finish times Locations Available: Tauranga Christchurch Auckland Wellington If you’re a domestic broker or a broker support looking for a role with real growth, quality referrals, and a great commission structure, this is well worth a conversation - I would love to chat!
