Duncan Stockcrates is a family owned and operated business, located at Forbes in central – western NSW. Our business specializes in the design and manufacture of livestock transport solutions, servicing clients Australia wide.
A new full-time position has become available for a storeperson, for a start in January 2026. Working alongside management, some of the key responsibilities in this position will include:
* Implementing and developing stock control systems
* Liaising with a variety of different suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels
* Allocating raw materials, components, equipment and PPE to our staff
* Updating appropriate reports on stock levels and reporting to management
* Working with management to ascertain future stock requirements
* Loading and unloading of all freight in and out of the workshop
* Managing tool and equipment maintenance and repair
Sound computer knowledge is essential for this role, as are high levels of literacy and numeracy. Knowledge of cloud-based accounting programs, such as Xero, will be advantageous. Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs will be required.
A background in warehousing or retail stock management will be preferred. Applicants with prior knowledge of steel products will be highly sought.
Any additional skills an applicant has that can help our business will be seen favourably.
A current manual NSW drivers licence is essential, while a forklift licence will be ideal.
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated commensurate to skills and experience, and a 6 week probationary period applies to all new employees.
