Position: Logistics Coordinator
About the Role
This is a standalone Logistics Coordinator role responsible for overseeing the movement, scheduling, and availability of a fleet of heavy machinery across multiple sites. You'll manage day-to-day logistics while coordinating the logistics of both preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime. The role is office-based and relies heavily on in-house systems and Excel to keep fleet operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate transport and allocation of heavy machinery between sites
* Manage logistics schedules using internal software and Excel
* Plan and coordinate logistics for preventative and breakdown maintenance
* Liaise with site teams and maintenance providers to align equipment availability
* Track fleet movements, maintenance status, and resolve clashes or delays
* Maintain accurate records, reporting, and fleet utilisation data
* Act as the central point of contact for all fleet and maintenance logistics
What You'll Bring
* Experience in logistics, plant coordination, or fleet scheduling
* Exposure to fleet maintenance coordination (preventative and reactive)
* Strong Excel skills and confidence using internal systems
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Clear communication and practical problem-solving skills
* Background in construction, civil, or heavy equipment environments (preferred)
