Cortex is seeking our next team member to fill the role of Project Manager in Land C4 Systems.

We're seeking a Project Manager with experience delivering capability within the One Defence Capability System. The position will support a major Defence program (LAND4140) enhancing and securing the Joint Land Force's Command, Control, Communications and Computing (C4) capabilities to drive outcomes for the project.
This role sits within an integrated workforce and focuses on delivering iterative uplifts to the Deployed Information Environment (DIE), Tactical Communications Network (TCN), Battle Management System (BMS), and the Integrated Battlefield Telecommunications Network (I-BTN).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and update project artefacts: PMP, Risk Plans, Workforce Plans, Sustainment Agreements
* Liaise with Army HQ and Defence stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
* Support FIC development, commercial planning, and risk reduction activities
* Prepare clear and concise Defence briefs, submissions, and reporting
* Drive delivery planning and project transition activities in accordance with Defence methodologies
About You:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent Defence project experience
* NV1 clearance (essential); eligible for ITAR access
* Deep understanding of Defence capability lifecycle, CASG frameworks, and stakeholder management
* Skilled in PMBOK, PMMv2, and Defence writing standards
