We’re now looking for a Colour Specialist to join our Somersby team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our decorative product range.
About the Role
This role blends quality, technical expertise and supplier collaboration. You’ll take ownership of colour standards across printed papers, films and decorative finishes—ensuring our products consistently meet the high expectations of our brands and customers.
Working from briefs provided by internal marketing and product teams, you’ll engage with suppliers to source and develop samples that align with required colours, finishes and specifications.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Conduct quality checks on incoming and returned materials.
* Work from product and marketing briefs to source colour and finish samples.
* Partner with suppliers to deliver against defined colour and product requirements.
* Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conformances.
* Maintain accurate quality records and technical documentation.
* Provide product and technical support across teams.
* Visit manufacturing sites as needed to support quality outcomes.
About You
* Detail-driven, organised, and comfortable working in a technical manufacturing environment.
* Experience in printing, paper, laminates, coatings or decorative surfaces (preferred).
* Strong eye for colour, consistency and finish quality.
* Confident working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Practical, solutions-focused mindset.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
