$113,574 - $125,720 plus Super p.a. depending on experience 6 - 12 month FTC with potential to extend NSW State Government | Based in Parramatta with 2 days WFH - hybrid Our NSW Government client is seeking a capable team leader of workers' insurance claims to work in-house at one of the largest state government agencies in NSW, which functions to reduce violence, crime and fear throughout the community. The ideal candidate would have experience leading and overseeing workers' compensation and/or income protections teams in order to effectively manage a team of 5-6 claims officers. Facilitate peer case reviews to enhance the understanding and knowledge of claim management methodologies to improve service delivery Develop, implement and review procedures, resource library and claim management improvement strategies to improve the service delivery in line with industry practice Drive a positive culture for injured employees by providing empathy, support and assistance to employees with claims who may be emotional or distressed What you'll bring: Experience in Workers' Compensation/Income Protection claims management and guidance to Case Managers on regulations and standard processes Leadership experience in a team environment, ideally overseeing workers' compensation or income protections teams Ability to perform calculations such as PIAWE/Income Protection etc. How to Apply: Please apply by submitting your resume (in Word format) via the "Apply Now" tab to be considered for the role.
