Randstad is seeking an experienced and highly motivated EL1 Change Manager to lead a critical program within a prominent Federal Government department. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a program that will enhance Australia's national security interests and deliver on an important international commitment.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the change strategy for a multi-year, multi-phase program focused on improving passport security and integrity in the Pacific. You will lead a dedicated team of experts and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve key government commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive change strategy, including interventions, communications, and governance.
* Provide subject matter expertise and direct the capability uplift of a partner nation team.
* Manage program risks and issues, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met.
* Lead a cross-functional team, providing direction and guidance to achieve program goals.
* Prepare and present reports to senior management and governance forums.
* Liaise with internal and external agencies, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
Skills and Experience
* Change Management Expertise: Strong background in change management, including strategy development and implementation within complex projects.
* Leadership and Initiative: Proven ability to lead a team independently, manage multiple priorities, and work with broad direction.
* Cultural Awareness: Experience working on culturally sensitive projects, with a proven ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders respectfully.
* Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think strategically, assess risks, and develop solutions.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Well-developed capacity for collaboration and communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
