Job Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Process employee lifecycle changes including new hires, contract amendments, and terminations
* Maintain employee data, contracted hours, and payroll records across systems
* Assist with payroll processing, including timesheet validation and reporting
* Manage payroll queries and provide timely, professional support to employees and stakeholders
* Support workers compensation processes, salary packaging reconciliation, and compliance updates
* Contribute to audits, month/quarter/year‐end reporting, and payroll compliance obligations
* Identify and support process improvements, maintaining accurate payroll documentation and procedures
* Provide general administrative support, including records management and responding to enquiries
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
* Strong knowledge of Aus Legislation & Compliance
* Aged care industry experience a bonus!
* Tech savvy and ability to pick up payroll systems quickly
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Honesty, integrity and discretion.
