**The Opportunity**
This excellent **full-time, permanent** opportunity is available for a **Filling Support Technician** within the Aseptic filling area of the Turner facility at our Broadmeadows site. Working predominantly with our Privigen product, you will play an integral part in manufacturing product that is helping people with life threatening illnesses live a full life.
**The Role**
Working in an aseptic and TGA/FDA regulated manufacturing facility you will be exposed to world class manufacturing processes and systems. Reporting to the Filling Team Leader, you will be hands-on and integral to execution of activities to support the aseptic filling operation within the facility. Working with a collaborative team, you will be working a fixed morning shift, or afternoon shift, over a 9-day fortnight.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conduct activities to meet the Master Production Schedule and the forecasted product demand.
- Operation and use of bottle washing and sterilising equipment
- Prepare equipment as defined in the batch process sheet and procedures
- Perform various activities; filter integrity testing, line clearance and cleaning to name a few
- Actively assist troubleshooting of day to day issues.
- Identify and support process development and innovation within the manufacturing plant.
- Identify improvements in documentation to ensure compliance.
- Ensure you are appropriately trained and qualified to conduct duties in a GMP compliant manner.
- Follow company policies, safety standards and good house keep practices.
- Ensure timely inventory control of materials is in line with production requirements and procedures.
- Complete batch documentation and ensure manufacturing facility is maintained in a clean and compliant manner.
- Provide support to ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with registered conditions and the code of GMP and in a validated state.
**Your skills and experience**
- Preferred tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience (minimum of VCE qualifications).
- Technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems, plus knowledge of cGMP
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or allied industry involving line management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
- Proven ability to work to timelines and meet production schedules
- Ability to maintain high attention to detail
- Flexible and diligent team contributor
