Kambah Inn is a well-established hospitality venue located in the heart of Kambah, ACT. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality meals, and strong local community presence, we are currently seeking a
passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes in line with the venue’s menu
• Assist in menu planning, development, and seasonal updates
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory
• Train and supervise kitchen staff as required
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
• Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or higher preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
