Responsibilities
* Prepare coffee machine and parts for daily use, maintain and clean daily, maintain supply lines.
* Grind coffee beans and understand coffee blends and the different roasts.
* Prepare a variety of coffees to our high standard familiar to our local clientele.
* Prepare coffee in suitable vessels and presentable with latte art.
* Greet customers with a friendly face when handing out orders.
* Maintain stock of clean mugs, ensuring an adequate supply is always on hand.
* Maintain stock levels of coffee beans, milk and other required items.
* Clean coffee area of the cafe at the end of each day.
* Comply with all Health and Safety regulations.
* Handle cash and conduct end of day reconciliations.
* Ensure that all associated products e.g. coffee, teas etc. are dispensed with consistency and quality.
Qualifications
* At least one year experience and be able to work independently.
* Proficient in the use of Lightspeed POS systems.
