The Role:
This Junior Property Manager position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact. You will assist in the management of properties, work closely with clients, and gain exposure to a variety of property management tasks. Key responsibilities include:
* Assist in Property Management: Support the management of a portfolio of properties, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and tenants are happy.
* Routine Inspections & Condition Reports: Assist with conducting property inspections, preparing condition reports, and managing lease renewals.
* Tenant & Client Liaison: Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Advertising & Application Processing: Support the process of advertising properties, handling applications, and assisting with tenant sign-ups
* Maintenance Coordination: Help coordinate property maintenance and handovers from builders to ensure all tasks are completed to standard.
* Support Property Leasing: Assist with liaising between tenants and lessors, helping with leasing and other property management tasks.
* Enjoy a Balanced Work Schedule: Work in a hybrid role with no weekends required (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm).
The Person:
We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual with a positive attitude and a passion for property management. The ideal candidate will have:
* A current QLD Real Estate License or Certificate (or working towards one).
* Some experience or interest in property management, ideally through an internship, work experience, or academic background.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in property management.
